We have PUDDING!

Zinnias (left) and "Pudding" (right) next to a teaspoon for scale

Yes, it's true. We have pudding. In an earlier post "Dirt day/ earth day" http://6daysweek.blogspot.com/2009/04/dirt-day-earth-day.html, I told how Maimie planted seeds in little pots and told her daddy that she had planted pudding. We really didn't think it was going to grow at all. It was actually strawberry seeds that we planted, and they were miniscule! Today I checked the pots on the kitchen windowsill when I watered them---and, lo and behold!---the tiniest little sprout. In the above photo, you can barely make out the little green speck in the center of the second pot. But it's there.

PS: Just noticed this evening that the blog has had over 5,000 visitors since we added the NeoCounter widget. Woo Hoo! Perhaps someone other than my mother does read my blog. LOL

How fun that the little seed pots grew! Go Target! Mamie looked adorable in her garden gloves, too!
Pretty soon you'll have a food plot in the back yard and be selling veggies at the Saturday Farmer's market!

We want a start from Maimie's pudding plant for our garden!! Maybe by her birthday she might have a strawberry to eat!
Mikaela looked so beautiful in her Madrigal dress and did such a superb job of singing and playing her flute in the school concert last week.
Maimie looks like she is ready to ride her bike to Pinky's for ice cream some time.
