It's about 8:30am here in Shenyang. We have all eaten breakfast and are preparing to meet Grace in a little while to change money at a bank and travel to the Civil Affairs building where we will meet Saidie.
I think in every family there are many crucial moments that help define that family as a whole and each member as individuals. Some of those moments are monumental such as births, marriages, deaths. Other moments may be seemingly less significant.
This morning I'm struck by the magnitude of the moment our family is about to experience. To say we aren't afraid would be untrue. But we also are excited, happy, hopeful.
We meet Saidie at about 8pm central time Sunday evening. We hope to post sometime during the night central time, as we are traveling to a Carrefour after our meeting.
Please keep us in your prayers as this may be a very difficult day for all 7 of us.
