Time for the wearing of the green...
...and the eating of the green! Usually we try to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with fun green food. Some years it just amounts to a little green food coloring in the mashed potatoes or green kool-aid to drink. This year I was feeling especially Irish.
We enjoyed shamrock shakes for lunch. Tonight's supper was reuben sandwiches, broiled potatoes with chives, green beans, green punch, and green frosted donuts with shamrock sprinkles. YUMMY!
Jacob played a mean keyboard in the Jazz coffeehouse this year. Our table was decorated with a picnic theme...thanks to Mikaela's great idea.
The next evening the music continued as Mikaela sang at the HOI festival in Bloomington.
