O, Christmas Tree
Another Christmas season begins with our "day-after-Thanksgiving" tradition of going to the tree farm to cut the Christmas tree. The weather was wonderful and we were able to outdo ourselves this year. Mikaela picked a particularly lovely douglas fir with the most delightful scent. Everyone took their turn cutting it down before we took our tractor ride back to the shed.
After eating homemade pizza for supper, we set to work decorating with all of the ornaments we've accumulated over the years. What fun we have looking through all of the boxes and remembering each one.

Great photos and wonderful videos. We could almost smell the pine trees! Can't wait to see the tree and all your decorations. Maimie was a regular lumber jack cutting down the tree with her boots and all! It is great to see the family traditions and see how much each of the kids have grown and changed from this time last year! Merry Christmas to the Mondays!!

What an absolutely beautiful celebration of family!
That is so awesome, looks like everyone had a very special time.
Love the pictures and all the getting ready for the Christmas season. So fun when a little one is in the house as well.
