Yippee! Finally some good news!
Ever since sending our dossier to China last fall, we have looked forward to seeing the dates on CCAA's (China Center for Adoption Affairs) website change to reflect that our documents have been reviewed. While in the review room, a dossier is checked thoroughly and any questions or concerns are answered. After this process, the dossier then moves to the matching room to be matched with a child's referral. Unfortunately, things have been at a standstill for about 10 months. But this morning I noticed that the dates have changed. We have officially cleared the review room hurdle! Okay, now on to the matching room behind about 4 months worth of dossiers. No matter, I've decided to choose the bright side today. We are closer to our daughter than we were yesterday. Even though we won't be matched with our other November 2005 LID friends, when we do receive our requested special needs referral, it should help that we have already been reviewed. Also, Laura (our social worker) emailed me that our request should be sent to China in early September. Hopefully we will hear confirmation next week.

Yeeeeeeeeeeessss!!
......and a big "Yipee!!" it is!! :)
""And therefore the Lord[earnestly] waits [expecting, looking and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He might have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed [happy, fortunate, to be envied] are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, for His favor, His love, His peace, His joy and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!! (Isaiah 30:18 AMP)
Our love,
Joe and Nancy
So happy to come to your website and see that you are one step closer to being matched with your daughter in China.....I know you are anxious and the wait has been hard but soon this will all be a memory and all you will know is life with her!
