Well, it's been a long three days in the car, but we finally arrived at the beach this afternoon. Thursday we drove to Nashville, Tennessee before stopping for the night. Friday we drove on to Speedwell to visit Aunt Pat and Uncle Glenn. Despite arriving much later than anticipated, we were treated to a delicious meal of fried fish and hushpuppies. We chatted with Becky, Diane, Mike, and April, while the little girls played with Cheyenne. It was great to spend time with everybody. After our visit, we drove on to Birmingham, Alabama, to spend the night. None of us were excited to get back in the car this morning, but standing at the ocean this evening made it all worthwhile.
