Four States

Today we woke up in Kentucky, visited family in Tennessee, drove through Georgia, and stopped in Birmingham, Alabama.  We enjoyed seeing Aunt Pat and Uncle Glenn, even though we were only able to stay a few hours.  They truly are the sweetest people. Aunt Pat had recently undergone surgery on both feet and still welcomed us into her home.  Uncle Glenn told several great stories and kept us all laughing.

It was nearly 9:30 before we got to a hotel and managed to get the girls to bed.  Tomorrow we should only have about 5 hours in the car before we reach the beach.  One of the seatbelts broke this afternoon and we ended up shifting positions so that all the kids were belted in.  I'm dreading getting in the car again, but the thought of sleeping at the same place for a week without having to live out of a suitcase is quite appealing.
This photo was taken a few miles down the road from Aunt Pat and Uncle Glenn's house.

Great to see you got to visit some family. Cute pics of the kids. I love the matching outfit and bows. Hope they enjoy the beach!
