Just received word from our agency that our travel approval has arrived! The Thanksgiving departure isn't going to happen as Consulate appointments have already filled up for the week of 12/7. We should hear later this week with concrete dates, but the next available departure date is December 2 currently. It sounds like there has been a flood of travel approvals delivered today, so the appointments may be filled up for then also.
We would so appreciate your prayers for us about the following:
***reasonable holiday rates and wisdom as we arrange airfare.
***God's provision as we make travel arrangements and decide whether to take the whole family.
***preparation for Saidie's heart as she is faced with leaving everything familiar and grieves her losses.
***peace amid the flurry of arrangements and packing.

Sometime the consulate will open up more appts. if there is a backlog. It's worth seeing if your agency will push for that. The senators can help with that, too. Many blessings!
