Okay, so first with the good news! Friday we received our I800A approval (I-797) in the mail. It was dated 5/28, so why it took a week to arrive from Missouri, I have no idea. Still, good news is good news! Our final documents are on their way to the courier right now to be certified and authenticated. Hopefully our completed dossier will be on its way to China in a week or two.

Unfortunately, we received a phone call from our agency on Wednesday (June 2) letting us know that the possible referral is now no longer available to us for several more weeks due to a clerical error on China's part. Rats! We realize that if this particular referral is God's will, that this child will be made available to us when we are able to accept it in a few weeks. If this referral goes to another family, then God has a different child for us. We are confident of that.

We pray daily for your family and the adoption. Looks like Steve and the kids had a great time at the park. Praying your dossier reaches China quickly and that you receive confirmation on your referral really soon. We are so anxious to finally see the photo of our 5th grandchild!!! Can hardly wait. Love Maimie's patriotic swimsuit.
