Last Friday we had our home visit. Laura (our social worker) came and toured the house, interviewed the kids, and asked us some safety questions. It's so good to have that behind us. All that worrying for nothing! She didn't even look in all of the drawers and shelves--but she could have! I certainly had every one of them cleaned out and ready for inspection. Laura is so sweet, we just love her! She has a fantastic personality for her job. Even bad news doesn't seem so bad coming from her.
We're still waiting on DCFS to give their approval before the homestudy can be sent to the Immigration office. It's already been 6 1/2 weeks. Also, last week on Wednesday Mikaela got her braces on.
