A little birdie told me...
...that my travel approval is on its way from China right now! No word on when it will arrive, but we cannot secure a Consulate appointment until it does. Apparently our agency will try to get our appointment on December 7 or 8 if there are any slots left. That would put us on a plane on Thanksgiving Day, November 25. It still depends on many variables at this point, but we're getting closer.

I followed your last trip to China because you were going to Nanning shortly before us. Now neither of us is with LifeLink anymore, but you're still paving the way as we are also in process to adopt again. We just got PAs for two unrelated six year boys from Shenzhen, one of whom has craniofacial and hearing issues.
Glad to hear you'll be traveling soon. An early Christmas gift ;)

Oh, wow, you said all along you would love to be there on Thanksgiving! Might have to cook that old turkey a few days early this year!
